Building Partnerships to Power Asia's Next Development Pathway

25 June 2026 Bloomberg Office, London United Kingdom

    About the Event

Held alongside the London Climate Action Week 2026, Bloomberg Philanthropies is hosting a closed-door roundtable on "Building Partnerships to Power Asia's Next Development Pathway" in partnership with Philanthropy Asia Alliance (PAA). The discussion builds on the organisations' shared commitment through the Just Energy Transition Community, which brings together philanthropic leaders to catalyse funding and partnerships to support clean energy initiatives.

Advances in clean energy, mobility, cooling, digital technologies, and industrial innovation are transforming what future development pathways can look like for countries across Asia. These shifts, coupled with expanding pools of capital, stronger institutions, and lessons from development experiences across regions, place Asia at a moment of extraordinary opportunity. Countries across the region now have greater agency to shape more resilient, future-ready pathways of growth.

The next step lies in fostering cooperation across borders, regional and international. Bringing together philanthropic leaders and strategic partners from Asia and Europe, the roundtable will invite participants to share their perspectives on development, the challenges they face, and the potential for deeper collaboration between Asian and international philanthropies to accelerate development pathways that deliver economic prosperity, clean power, healthier environments, and greater quality of life across Asia.

Participation is by invitation only. For enquiries, please contact [email protected].
