Alejandro Litovsky

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Earth Security

Mr Alejandro Litovsky founded Earth Security in 2011 to develop breakthroughs in global finance for nature that can unlock capital at scale to address unprecedented global environmental challenges. Under his leadership, Earth Security creates innovative insights and establishes joint ventures with financial institutions to mobilise finance for natural assets at scale.


Mr Litovsky has more than two decades of experience working with banks, multinationals and governments creating innovative data analytics and collaborations to address global environmental trends. He has pioneered collaboration between banks, rating agencies and ecological scientists to change how sovereign credit analyses use environmental data to anticipate country tipping points. He has worked with companies around the world in resource-intensive sectors to align their investments with long-term country resilience and sustainability scenarios. Mr Litovsky has held senior positions at London-based sustainability consultancies AccountAbility and Volans, has worked with Shell International's Future Scenarios team in London and AVINA, a Swiss-based foundation investing in sustainability models in Latin America to build their sustainable oceans strategy.


Mr Litovsky has been actively involved in the environmental movement for the past 25 years. In 2004, he received the London School of Economics’ Hobhouse Memorial Prize for highest academic achievement during Master of Science in Political Sociology. In 2012, he won a BMW Foundation Global Leaders Award for his pioneering work with Earth Security.

Anita Kover

Program Director, Social Finance, UBS Optimus Foundation

Ms Anita Kover joined UBS Optimus Foundation in 2018 as Social Finance Program Director. Ms Kover’s role at the foundation has a focus on social finance investments, including both impact bonds and investments in social enterprises. Ms Kover brings extensive experience in structuring impact finance funds from initial concept through investment thesis, governance, financial modelling and full launch.


Previously, Ms Kover dedicated five years of her career to microfinance, working as a microfinance investment consultant in Luxembourg as well as in microfinance programme implementation in Burkina Faso, Togo and Ghana.


Ms Kover started her career at BNP Paribas in France and holds a double Master Degree in Management and Corporate Finance from the EDHEC Business School in France as well as a Master Degree in International Relations from the Corvinus University of Budapest.

Associate Professor Kenneth Mak

Director, Medical Services, Ministry of Health, Republic of Singapore

Assoc Prof Kenneth Mak is Director of Medical Services at the Ministry of Health Singapore. In this role, he oversees the provision of all health services in Singapore.


Since the beginning of COVID-19 pandemic, Assoc Prof Mak has been heavily involved in our national efforts to control the outbreak in Singapore. As Director of Medical Services in Ministry of Health, he advises the Multi-Ministry Taskforce as well as other governmental agencies in crafting our overall strategy for managing the outbreak and oversees our public health response to combat spread of COVID-19 in our community. Assoc Prof Mak is a familiar face as he has appeared regularly in the media conferences of the COVID-19 Multi-Ministry Taskforce.


Assoc Prof Kenneth Mak was previously Deputy Director of Medical Services (Health Services Group) in Ministry of Health from 2015 to end-2019. He worked closely with the Regional Health Systems and healthcare institutions in Singapore on care integration as well as on Singapore’s long-term healthcare transformation strategy.


Assoc Prof Kenneth Mak was trained as a general surgeon with subspecialty interests in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, as well as in trauma surgery. He maintains his clinical practice as a Senior Consultant surgeon in the Department of Surgery, at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Singapore.

Associate Professor Ng Kee Chong

Assoc Prof Ng Kee Chong is Chairman, Medical Board, and a Senior Consultant at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH).

Assoc Prof Ng’s illustrious career with KKH saw him as Head of Children’s Emergency (2005-2016), Singapore’s first such facility which he helped to establish in 1997. He was also Chairman of the Division of Medicine (2012-2017), and Chair of the SingHealth Academic Clinical Programme for Paediatrics (2012-2017). He led the set up of the Temasek Foundation Cares Trauma Network for Children and the KKH Regional Disaster Outreach Programme.


The first paediatrician in Singapore to practice paediatric emergency medicine, Assoc Prof Ng is currently the Vice President of the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council and Co-chair of Emergent Issues Subcommittee, on the National Trauma Committee at Ministry of Health. He is also Chair of the Pediatric Life Support Taskforce of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation.


In the region, Assoc Prof Ng has led various outreach teams to teach paediatric resuscitation in Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia and Chengdu, China.


Assoc Prof Ng holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the National University of Singapore, and a Master of Medicine (Paediatrics) Singapore. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, United Kingdom, has a Master of Business Administration from the Singapore Management University, and serves as a Clinical Associate Professor with the three medical schools in Singapore.

Associate Professor Tan Ee Shien

Assoc Prof Tan Ee Shien is Head of SingHealth Duke-NUS Genomic Medicine Centre, as well as Head and Senior Consultant for Genetics Service in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH). She started her training in Paediatrics in KKH in 2000 and obtained her Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2002. She then pursued her interest in genetics and was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan fellowship in 2005. Her passion is to ensure that all patients with genetic diseases have access to the best care available.


Assoc Prof Tan has been director of the National Newborn Screening Programme in Singapore since 2011. In this role, she has led the expansion of the list of disorders tested in newborns. The programme has been successful in ensuring that majority of the newborns in Singapore are tested.


Assoc Prof Tan is a strong believer in mentoring the next generation and is actively involved in education, serving as the paediatric clerkship director for the Duke NUS Graduate Medical School. She is also a Clinical Associate Professor in Duke-NUS Medical School and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.


She was awarded clinician scientist Award 2009-2011 and remains involved in many genetics research projects.

Bernard Tan

Sinar Mas Country Representative, Sinar Mas

Mr Bernard Tan is the Country President for Singapore, and the Managing Director for Strategic Projects and International Business Development for the Sinar Mas Group. Mr Tan was previously Chief Marketing Officer at ST Engineering. He was previously Acting Country Head of DBS Taiwan and subsequently headed PT Bank DBS Indonesia. Mr Tan was a Brigadier-General in the Singapore Armed Forces.


Mr Tan holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Birmingham, UK (First Class Honours) in Economics and Political Science and a Masters of Business Administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA. He is also Deputy President of the Football Association of Singapore, a Board Member for Sport Singapore, and chairs the School Management Committee of Catholic Junior College.

Budi Gunadi Sadikin

Minister of Health, Ministry of Health, Republic of Indonesia

Mr Sadikin began his career in 1988 as the Information Technology Officer at IBM’s Asia-Pacific Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan and worked at IBM until 1994 culminating as Manager of Systems Integration & Professional Services. Subsequently, he joined PT Bank Bali Tbk. until 1999 and had held various managerial roles, including General Manager of Human Resources.

Mr Sadikin then moved to ABN AMRO Bank Indonesia and remained there until 2004. His last position at the bank was Director of Consumer and Commercial Banking (Senior Vice President) for ABN AMRO Bank Indonesia & Malaysia. Following his time at ABN AMRO, Mr Sadikin joined PT Bank Danamon Tbk. as the Head of Consumer Banking (Executive Vice President) and later the Director of Adira Quantum Multi Finance.


In 2006, he joined Bank Mandiri Tbk. as the Director of Micro & Retail Banking. After which, he was assigned as President Director of Bank Mandiri in 2013 and continued until March 2016. After completing his tenure at Bank Mandiri Tbk., he served as the Senior Advisor to the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises from 2016 until 2017 and afterwards was appointed as the Chairman for PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Persero).

Between September 2017 and November 2019, he was the Group Chief Executive Officer of Mining Industry Holding Company, PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Persero) which is comprised of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, PT Timah Tbk, and PT Freeport Indonesia as Holding Members.

Mr Sadikin was the Vice Minister I of State-owned Enterprises and tasked to establish market leading and globally competitive state-owned enterprises. From July 2020 until 22 December 2020, he led the National Economic Recovery and Transformation Task Force amidst the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia.


On 23 December 2020, he was appointed by the President of Republic of Indonesia as the Minister of Health. He is assigned to lead the COVID-19 vaccination program for the nation and improve health services in Indonesia.

Denise Phua

President, Autism Resource Centre (Singapore)

Mayor, Central Singapore District

Ms Denise Phua is best known for her advocacy for those at risk of being left behind in Singapore and frequently speaks up for the disabled and Singaporeans with low-skilled and

low-income backgrounds. She is one of the key architects behind three 5-year Enabling Masterplans for the Disabled in Singapore.


An active volunteer, Ms Phua is the President and Chairperson of voluntary welfare organisations, Autism Resource Centre, Singapore and Autism Association Singapore. She helps supervise and is school board chairman for two special schools - the Pathlight School, which she co-founded, and the Eden School respectively. Ms Phua also helped founded The Purple Parade, an annual parade to support inclusion and showcase abilities; and The Purple Symphony, an inclusive orchestra.


Prior to her current portfolio, Ms Phua acquired more than 20 years of local and overseas corporate management experiences in Hewlett-Packard, the Wuthelam Group and founded the Centre for Effective Leadership (Asia).


Ms Phua gave up her corporate career in 2005 to become a  full-time special needs volunteer before being approached to join politics in 2006. She is currently a Member of Parliament and Mayor of Central Singapore District. She serves in the Government Parliamentary Committee for Education and Social and Family Development.

Dickson Lim

Head, Philanthropy and Community Impact, Singapore, UBS AG

Mr Dickson Lim is a seasoned and trusted senior Philanthropy advisor to prominent philanthropists across Asia, contributing award-winning, high-impact strategies and initiatives to establish their philanthropic legacies. Mr Lim spent more than 18 years serving in senior positions and thereafter advising leading non-profit organisations in the healthcare, education and social service sectors. Mr Lim regularly mentors the next generation of family successors and their foundations to invest in sustainable and scalable philanthropic programmes, to maximise impact at local, national and regional levels.


Prior to serving the non-profit sector, Mr Lim set up and led the Business Development team of a multinational group of companies with 10 offices across Asia. Over 10 years in the capacity, he developed strategic investments and joint ventures across Asia, and secured Asian exclusive distributorships from semiconductor equipment manufacturers in the United States, Europe and Japan.


Mr Lim holds a Master of Technology Management from Griffith University, and Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from National University of Singapore, majoring in Automation and Design. He is also a qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner, and holds a Diploma in International Trust Management from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.


Mr Lim is a very present father of four children, and an active volunteer in various charities and religious organisations for over 35 years. With a keen eye on charity governance, he serves on Singapore Charity Council’s judging panel of the Charity Governance Awards

Dr Götz Martin

Director, Sustainability and Strategic Projects, Golden Agri-Resources

Dr Götz Martin has been with Golden Agri-Resources (GAR) since 2015, leading the company’s sustainability initiatives on the ground. His team focuses on areas such as forest and peat conservation, rehabilitation and management; community engagement with a focus on participative action and alternative livelihoods; and responsible sourcing with a focus on supplier engagement and supply chain transformation.


Dr Martin has 12 years of experience in forest or land use and sustainability-related topics and has spent 11 years in Southeast Asia. As a leading subject matter expert in his field, Götz Dr Martin sits on various committees which include High Carbon Stock Approach (HCSA) Executive Committee, High Conservation Value Resource Network (HCVRN) Management Committee, RSPO Peatland Working Group, and the RSPO Biodiversity and High Conservation Value (BHCV) Working Group.


In his previous role at McKinsey & Company, Dr Martin was one of the key authors of the McKinsey Global Greenhouse Gas Abatement Cost Curve, as well as the Indonesian Greenhouse Gas Abatement Cost Curve – the first document published by an Indonesian Government agency (DNPI) which recognised the role of peatlands as a source of carbon emissions. He was also the lead author of the East Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan Low Carbon Economic Growth Strategy.


Dr Martin has a Doctor of Philosophy and master’s degree in Forestry Science, and a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management from the Albert-Ludwig University of Freiburg, Germany.

Dr Harald Link

Chairman, B.Grimm

Dr Harald Link is a socially engaged Thai-German entrepreneur and industrialist. Dr Link is the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and owner of B.Grimm, a multi-national conglomerate active in healthcare, energy, building & industrial systems, real estate, e-commerce, and transport. He is an independent board director of True Corporation and an independent director and member of nomination, compensation and corporate governance committee of Indorama Ventures. B.Grimm is known in Thailand as a public champion of compassionate business practices.


Dr Link is the third generation in his family to manage B.Grimm. He joined B. Grimm in 1978 at age 23 and joined his uncle Herbert and father Dr Gerhard Link as Managing Partner in 1987 and became chief executive officer that year at the age of 32.


In his time at B.Grimm as chief executive officer, the business has expanded from annual revenues of $50 million to over $2 billion. Dr Link pursued a strategy of partnering in joint ventures with leading global companies which he admired and setting up new own businesses in energy, shipping and real estate independent of multinational manufacturers.


B.Grimm built long-standing equity partnerships with Thai companies such as Amata, CP Group, BIP, WHA, Univentures, Ratanarak and other families and multinationals such as Merck, Carl Zeiss, Siemens, United Technologies, Sumitomo, Getinge, Beijer, KSB, and others.

In July 2017, B.Grimm Power filed for an initial public offering on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The company is traded under the ticket symbol “BGRIM”.


For Dr Link’s contribution in the development of German-Thai trade and economic relations, he was awarded the Cross of Merit on the ribbon of the Federal Republic of Germany in 1995 and in October 2010 with the Cross of Merit First Class.


Dr Link attended St. Gallen University and graduated in 1978 with a Master of Business Administration degree. He received an honorary doctorate in Business Administration from the Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya in 2016. The graduation ceremony was presided over by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. He is a Chairman of the Association of Private Power Producers and a board member of the Thai Red Cross Society, a number of its Subcommittees, the President of the Thailand and the Southeast Asia Equestrian Federation, Chairman of the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, Chairman of the Princess Mother’s Charities Fund and board member of a number of other institutions like the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce.

Dr Hsu Li Yang

Vice Dean, Global Health, NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health

Dr Hsu Li Yang is an infectious diseases physician who is currently Vice Dean of Global Health at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, NUS. He is also Associate Director of the Singapore Centre for Environmental Life Sciences Engineering, a Research Centre of Excellence on biofilms and microbial communities based jointly at Nanyang Technological University and NUS.


Dr Hsu is actively involved in capacity building to address global health issues in the region, including laying the groundwork for a clinical research network for antimicrobial resistance and emerging infectious diseases that is jointly funded by the Wellcome Trust and local institutions. Outside his official duties, he has collaborated with famed comic book artist Sonny Liew to publish educational comics on both COVID-19 and antimicrobial resistance, and is also President of the Singapore Chess Federation.

Dr Kelvin Bryan Tan

Director, Policy Research and Evaluation Division, Data Analytics Group, Ministry of Health, Republic of Singapore

Dr Kelvin Bryan Tan is currently Director (Future Systems Office) and is responsible for driving IT and Data Enablement for Population Health initiatives within the Ministry of Health. He started his career in the Ministry of Health in 2000 where he was in charge of Medisave, MediShield and Medifund policy. He subsequently spent stints as the General Manager of Central Singapore Community Development Council staffing the Mayor of the Central Singapore district, as well as at the Ministry of Trade Industry where he was in charge of strategic planning, research and development, and small medium enterprise policy.


Dr Tan graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University and subsequently obtained his Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy in the Department of Management Science from Stanford University. His research interests are in the area of health economics, health insurance design and cost effectiveness modelling.

Dr Saumya Shekhar Jamuar

Dr Saumya Jamuar is Senior Consultant, Genetics Service at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH). He serves as the Lead Principal Investigator of the Singapore Childhood Undiagnosed Disease/BRIDGES Programme and is the Deputy Director (Clinical), SingHealth Duke-NUS Institute of Precision Medicine. He was also the inaugural head of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Genomic Medicine Centre.


Dr Jamuar completed his Genetics Fellowship at Harvard Medical School. He is actively involved in research, has presented at local and international meetings and published in top-tier journals including The New England Journal of Medicine and Nature Genetics. His research areas include rare genetic disorders, dysmorphology, skeletal dysplasia, and neurodevelopmental genetics. He was conferred the 2013 Young Investigator Award at the American Epilepsy Society meeting, 2015 SingHealth Outstanding Young Researcher Award, and 2018 SingHealth Outstanding Publish Award.


Eddy Henry

Head, Early Childhood Education and Development, Tanoto Foundation

Mr Eddy Henry leads Tanoto Foundation’s Early Childhood Education and Development (ECED) programme where its main focuses are in: supporting government priority in accelerating stunting prevalence reduction, increasing quality parenting and caregiving practices for children 0 to 3, and advocating for increase access and quality of early childhood education. Through continuous learning, research, pilot programming, and multi-stakeholders public-private collaboration. Tanoto Foundation aims to advocate implementation of its ECED program to the wider audience.


Prior to joining Tanoto Foundation, Mr Eddy held multiple positions in Putera Sampoerna Foundation including Education Program Director as well as Alumni and Student Life Development Director. He had also been appointed as member of the United World College (UWC) International Council, and Asia Pacific International Baccalaureate (IB) Regional Council. Mr Eddy had also been in the industry as a director of a renown pharmaceutical distribution company and was the Chief Executive Officer of an IT company based in Indonesia and Singapore.

Mr Eddy is a graduate from Lester B. Pearson College UWC of the Pacific and Trent University in Mathematics and Computer Studies.

Elizabeth Cousens

President and Chief Executive Officer, UN Foundation

Ms Elizabeth Cousens became the UN Foundation’s third President and Chief Executive Officer in 2020. She is a diplomat and thought leader who has worked on the frontlines of peace processes, played an influential role in UN policy innovations from peacebuilding to the Sustainable Development Goals, and helped build public-private partnerships to solve global challenges at scale.


She previously served as U.S. Ambassador to the UN Economic and Social Council, Alternate Representative to the UN General Assembly, and Principal Policy Advisor and Counselor to the Permanent Representative of the United States to the United Nations. She has written widely on conflict management, peace processes, state-building, and the United Nations.


Ms Cousens has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from the University of Puget Sound and a Doctor of Philosophy in International Relations from the University of Oxford, where she was a Rhodes Scholar.

Haslinda Amin

Chief International Correspondent for Southeast Asia, Bloomberg

Ms Haslinda Amin is Chief International Correspondent for Southeast Asia and anchor for Bloomberg Television. She is also host and Executive Producer of talk show ‘High Flyers’ which is the longest-running program on Bloomberg Television.


Based in Singapore, Ms Amin has been at the heart of market-moving news and stories that have driven the region’s transformation. Ms Amin has also helmed Bloomberg’s coverage of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting, the World Economic Forum, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank Board of Governors Meeting and the ASEAN Milken Global Summit.


Ms Amin has interviewed a wide range of top newsmakers for Bloomberg Television, including Singapore’s founding father Lee Kuan Yew, Indonesia’s President Joko Widodo. Other notable interviews include Paul Volcker, Joe Biden, Mike Pompeo, Timothy Geithner and Stanley Fischer.

Ms Amin began her career covering Southeast Asian politics more than a decade ago. She serves on the board of United Women Singapore and has been nominated numerous times for Best Current Affairs Anchor at the Asian Television Awards. Ho Ching

Chairman, Temasek Trust

Ms Ho Ching has been Chairman of Temasek Trust with effect from 1 April 2022.


Ms Ho began her engineering career with the Ministry of Defence in 1976, and joined the Singapore Technologies group as its Director Engineering in 1987. She became its President and Chief Executive Officer (1997-2001), and was the founding Chairman of Singapore Technologies Engineering (1997-2002).


Ms Ho joined Temasek as Executive Director in 2002, and retired from Temasek Holdings with effect from 1 October 2021, after serving some 17 years as its Chief Executive Officer.


Ms Ho is a Distinguished Engineering Alumnus of the National University of Singapore, and a Fellow of the Academy of Engineering, Singapore. Her pro bono public services included being Chairman of the Singapore Institute of Standards and Industrial Research, and Deputy Chairman of the Singapore Economic Development Board, as well as the National Productivity Board.


In the non-profit space, Ms Ho is Chairman of Trailblazer Foundation, and a board member of Wellcome LEAP. She is adviser to the Autism Resource Centre, and is the patron of the Autism Association of Singapore, and the Assisi Hospice Singapore.


Ms Ho holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from the University of Singapore (now National University of Singapore), and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Joel Bacha

Global Project Director, Room to Read

Mr Joel Bacha has worked for more than 15 years in the field of educational development. He joined Room to Read in 2010 to develop early grades reading programmes with country teams in Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. As the Global Project Director at Room to Read, Mr Bacha works to design and strategically implement custom projects to reach more children in new geographic regions and he also heads Room to Read’s new Project Management Unit. Most recently, Mr Bacha has been coordinating and providing strategic guidance to Room to Read projects in Indonesia, Jordan, Pakistan, Uganda and the United States.


Through past consultancies with UNESCO and UNICEF, Mr Bacha has worked across the education spectrum with more than 30 countries on issues such as teacher education, curriculum development, literacy and life skills development, multilingual education, and water and sanitation in schools.


Mr Bacha received his Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from the University of California San Diego, and a dual Master of Arts in Language Education and Educational Development from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, California.

Mr Bacha has published a curriculum guide for Japanese teachers, taught university courses on the United Nations Millennium Development Goals, and worked with governments and education partners to combat poverty through quality education.

John Colombo

Country Manager Indonesia, Clime Capital Management

Mr John Colombo represents Clime Capital for investments in Indonesia. Clime Capital manages the Southeast Asia Clean Energy Facility (SEACEF), which makes early-stage investments in innovative, high-impact clean energy projects and businesses in Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. In Indonesia, SEACEF has invested in a range of clean energy businesses and projects including renewable power, electric mobility, and energy efficiency. Mr Colombo brings extensive experience in renewable power generation and mobility.

Lauren Sorkin

Executive Director, Resilient Cities Network

As Executive Director of the Resilient Cities Network, Ms Lauren Sorkin leads global efforts in 100 cities in over 40 countries to deal with complex challenges including climate change, access to equitable opportunities and promoting a circular economy. Ms Sorkin serves as an adviser and spokesperson on urban resilience, women’s leadership sustainable finance, climate risk, and urbanisation trends. She is on the Advisory Board of Food Tank, Natural Capital and Smart Cities World Editorial Advisory Board. Previously with the Asian Development Bank, Ms Sorkin led the Bank’s first climate change investment plan, before mainstreaming climate risks and opportunities for Vietnam’s US$7 billion portfolio. Earlier in her career, she delivered clean energy, climate change and conservation projects in Asia, Africa and South America.

Lawrence Wong

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Republic of Singapore Member of Parliament, Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC

Mr Lawrence Wong is the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance. He is also a Member of Parliament for Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC. He co-chairs the Multi-Ministry Taskforce on COVID-19, and is the Deputy Chairman of the Monetary Authority of Singapore. He is also a member of the GIC Board, the Future Economy Council, the Research, Innovation and Enterprise Council and the National Research Foundation Board, and  co-chairs the Singapore-Shanghai Comprehensive Cooperation Council.

In addition, he contributes to the labour movement as Chairman of the Singapore Labour Foundation, as well as Advisor to the Union of Power and Gas Employees, and the Building Construction and Timber Industries Employees’ Union.

Mr Wong was first elected as a Member of Parliament in May 2011. He has held positions in the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Communications and Information, the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, the Ministry of National Development, and the Ministry of Education.

Prior to entering politics, Mr Wong was a civil servant. He was previously the Chief Executive of the Energy Market Authority and the Principal Private Secretary to Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

Mr Wong was educated at Tanjong Katong Secondary School and Victoria Junior College. He obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. He also holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School.

Lim Seok Hui

Ms Lim Seok Hui is Chief Executive Officer of the Philanthropy Asia Alliance.

Prior to joining Temasek Trust, Ms Lim was Chief Executive Officer of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). During her tenure at SIAC, Ms Lim was for several years concurrently the first Chief Executive Officer of the Singapore International Mediation Centre (SIMC). She now serves as a Board member of SIMC.

Over the years, Ms Lim has worked in Singapore and Hong Kong with local and international law firms as a corporate, mergers and acquisitions and securities lawyer; and has also served as General Counsel at multinational corporations.
She is a graduate of the London School of Economics, qualified as a barrister and is admitted as a solicitor in Singapore, Hong Kong and England and Wales.

Lucio Tan III

Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer, LT Group

Lucio Tan III has been appointed Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of the LT Group in 2022.


Mr Tan assumed the role of President and Chief Operating Officer at Tanduay Distillers, Inc. in late 2019. He steered the company throughout the pandemic and managed to boost its net income to P1.1 billion in 2020 and P1.2 billion in 2021. Under his leadership, Tanduay’s international business maintained its growth trajectory through aggressive marketing expansion and partnerships.

Apart from heading Tanduay, Mr Tan was appointed Vice President of PAL Holdings in 2021. He became Director of MacroAsia Corporation in December 2019. Currently a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization for both Local and International Chapter, Mr Tan has a strong background in engineering and technology, with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering where he received the Stanford University Frederick E. Terman Award, which is given to the top 5% of Stanford University engineering undergraduates and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University. He was working as a software engineer at Lyft in the Bay Area before coming home to the Philippines to head Tanduay.

Manisha Bhinge

Managing Director, Global Networks and Partnerships, Health Initiative, The Rockefeller Foundation

Ms Manisha Bhinge serves as the Managing Director of Global Networks and Partnerships with the Pandemic Prevention Institute, starting in 2021. She leads programme strategy and manages the portfolio of implementation partners for The Rockefeller Foundation’s Precision Public Health Initiative.


Ms Bhinge has over a decade and a half of experience in social innovation and implementation science in global health. She is a graduate of Harvard University with specialisations in health economics and international development, as well as an undergraduate focus on computer science and mathematics.

Mason Wallick

Managing Director, Clime Capital Management

Mr Mason Wallick is the Managing Director of Clime Capital and a member of the SEACEF Investment Committee.


He has over 20 years’ experience supporting renewable energy and power-related assets and portfolios of investments through the development life cycle. Over this period, he has supported over US$70 billion dollars of successful debt and equity transactions.

Mr Wallick is a recognised and committed leader in the energy industry, frequently sought out for his views and market insights.

He previously founded Infunde Development and led the company as Chief Executive Officer. During this period, Infunde Development was awarded an exclusive development services agreement by InfraCo Asia to provide development services across Southeast Asia (excluding Myanmar), resulting in a portfolio of over 1GW of renewable capacity under development. Prior to Infunde Development, he founded Infunde Capital. Infunde Capital has provided due diligence and advisory support for over US$14 billion of successful energy and infrastructure developments in Asia Pacific on behalf of utility investors, lenders, and financial investors.


Mr Wallick held positions of increasing responsibility and leadership at recognised consulting firms, a hedge fund, and an investment bank before founding Infunde Capital and Infunde Development. He holds a Master of Science in Mineral Economics as well as a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, both from the Colorado School of Mines.

Michael Susanto

Mr Michael Susanto leads the strategic planning and partnership at Tanoto Foundation, an independent philanthropy organisation that believes the transformative power of quality education to enable individuals to reach their full potential and improve lives. He works in supporting across the Foundation’s countries and programs in Indonesia, Singapore, China, and Brazil.


Mr Susanto is passionate in education leadership, public policy, and ecosystem building, and prior to joining Tanoto Foundation, Michael had spent the last 20 years in life science and healthcare, as well as manufacturing and petrochemical industries. During this time, he had managed multiple new business developments, including non-destructive testing, women and child health, rare-disease disorders, and analytical science, among many others.

Narayanaswami Vasanth Subramanian

Neo Gim Huay

Ms Neo Gim Huay is Managing Director, Centre for Nature and Climate at the World Economic Forum. Before joining the Forum, she held various Managing Director roles in Temasek, including Climate Change Strategy, Sustainability and Enterprise Development. Temasek is an investment company, headquartered in Singapore with a net portfolio value of approx. USD$280 billion in 2020.


Ms Neo was responsible for seeding new businesses as well as working with Temasek’s existing portfolio of companies to develop strategy and build new capabilities. She also spearheaded Temasek’s sustainability strategy and initiatives across the organisation and within the community.

Piyush Gupta

Mr Piyush Gupta has been Chief Executive Officer and Director of DBS Group since 2009.

Professor Chan Kok Yen, Jerry

Director, SingHealth Duke-NUS Maternal and Child Health Research Institute

Professor Jerry Chan is a senior Clinician Scientist and Senior Consultant with the Department of Reproductive Medicine at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH).

Prof Chan is also the Vice Chair, Research of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Academic Clinical Programme, and serves as the Director to both the KK Research Centre and the Maternal and Child Health Research Institute.


Prof Chan has major interests in advancing and optimising maternal and child health over the past 16 years. His research centers on addressing unmet clinical needs through the application of cutting-edge science to identify and develop solutions that can translate to benefits for patients and the society.

Prof Chan has been leading a basic science and clinical research team since 2005. He is also passionate in identifying and training future generations of Clinician Scientists in Singapore, with several of his students becoming prolific, independent Principal Investigators.


Prof Chan has published over 260 papers including in top-tier journals such as The Lancet, Nature, Nature Medicine, Science and Cell and more. Professor Katharina Hauck

Professor in Health Economics and Deputy Director, Jameel Institute, Imperial College London

Prof Katharina Hauck is the Deputy Director of the Abdul Latif Jameel Institute for Disease and Emergency Analytics and a professor in health economics at the School of Public Health, Imperial College London. She is specialised in the economics of infectious diseases and the economic evaluation of complex public health interventions. She is a co-convener of the economic analysis of the Infected Blood Inquiry in the United Kingdom (UK), member of the ‘International Joint Comparators Unit’ advising the UK cabinet office on international evidence in the fight against COVID-19, and she was co-chair for Economics of The Global Fund's Modelling Secretariat for the investment case of the sixth replenishment, and an Associate Editor of the journal ‘Health Economics’.


Her specific research interests focus on integrated economic-epidemiological models to analyse the impact of infectious disease on economic outcomes, strengthening health systems and priority setting and cost-effectiveness analysis.

Professor Klaus Schwab

Founder and Executive Chairman, World Economic Forum

Founded the World Economic Forum in 1971 as a not-for-profit foundation built for International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation. Prof Schwab and together with his wife Hilde,  co-founded the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship in 1998 – supporting social innovation around the world. He also founded the Forum of Young Global Leaders in 2004, a multi-stakeholder community of young leaders (30 to 40 years old) who share a commitment to shaping the global future, complimenting his work as a founder of the Global Shapers Community in 2011. Prof Schwab was a Professor of Business Policy, University of Geneva from 1971 to 2003, where he contributed to the publication describing the Stakeholder Theory in 1971 and a new approach to global competitiveness in 1979.

Raman Sidhu

Rose Sagun

Ms Rose Sagun manages The Education Commission’s High Touch High Tech for All (HTHT), which aims to deliver the vision of personalised learning for all, especially the most marginalised learners, by harnessing the unique strengths of the teacher (High Touch) and the power of Artificial Intelligence (High Tech). AI powers adaptive content and assessment to develop foundational learning while the teacher develops higher-order 21st century competencies such as critical thinking, collaboration, and socio-emotional learning. This integrated approach has the tremendous potential to accelerate learning for all-at scale.


HTHT has been piloted in Vietnam and extensively implemented in South Korea under the leadership of Education Commission Asia with successful results. A 100-school pilot in Uruguay is ongoing, in partnership with Education Commission Asia, the Inter-American Development Bank, and Plan Ceibal. HTHT aims to expand across Southeast Asia, Ghana, and other parts of the world where such innovation could accelerate and transform learning and teaching outcomes in a post-COVID-19 world.


Ms Sagun’s extensive experience in education ranges from school leadership and public policy to designing frontier innovations in a large portfolio of Environment, Social, and Governance initiatives. She has developed an award-winning learning experience for Globe Telecom, a major telecommunications player in the Philippines with Singtel as one of its major principals.


Ms Sagun graduated with a master's degree in International Education Policy with a special focus on emerging evidence-based innovations from Harvard University. She serves as Co-Chair of Harvard Alumni for Education-San Francisco Bay Area chapter.

Roshni Mehta

Shamina Singh

For more than 20 years, Ms Shamina Singh has been on the frontlines of developing and implementing solutions to make the global economy work for everyone, everywhere. Ms Singh is the Founder and President of the Center for Inclusive Growth, the philanthropic hub of Mastercard. She also serves as Executive Vice President of Corporate Sustainability and is a member of the company’s Management Committee.

In 2018, Mastercard pledged $500 million to create the Mastercard Impact Fund. Ms Singh was named President and charged with activating those philanthropic dollars to advance inclusive growth and financial inclusion around the world.

Tom Hall

Global Head, Social Impact and Philanthropy, UBS AG

With over 18 years of experience working with and advising private clients, Mr Tom Hall leads UBS AG Global Philanthropy services and Social Impact teams, to help clients maximise their impact from giving through investing. Mr Hall has personally advised over 2,000 clients and their families during his time at UBS and is passionate about finding ways to catalyse solutions to the pressing social and environmental problems the world is facing.

Prior to joining UBS in 2013, Mr Hall spent his career in the non-profit sector. As Director of Philanthropy and Social Investment at the Disability Charity Scope, he pioneered the use of social investment structures, including the Scope Bond, which was the first listed bond issued by an operational charity in the United Kingdom.


Earlier in his career, as its first full-time employee, Mr Hall helped scale up the Microloan Foundation, securing the investment for the charity to expand into sustainable microfinance in Malawi for over 50,000 female entrepreneurs.


Mr Hall has a degree in Politics from the University of Exeter as well as professional qualifications in Green Sustainable Finance (Chartered Banker), marketing (CIM), fundraising management and financial planning (CIIR). He is also a father of four children and a keen runner.

Tony Kettinger

Chief Operating Officer, Golden Agri-Resources

Mr Tony Kettinger joined Golden Agri-Resources Limited (GAR) as Chief Operating Officer in January 2021. In this role he drives operational and functional excellence, leads investment strategy, and builds on GAR’s leading position in sustainability to address climate change and emerging customer needs.


Mr Kettinger has over 25 years of global experience in food and agribusiness. Prior to joining GAR, he had a 15-year tenure in Cargill, where he last served as Group Managing Director and led a variety of food ingredient and agriculture processing businesses across Asia-Pacific. Early in his career, he held commodity trading and management positions with Wilmar/ADM in China and with ADM in North and South America. He has lived in the US, Brazil and China, and has been based in Singapore since 2017.


He serves on the Board of Directors of Sinarmas Cepsa, and previously served on the boards of joint ventures between Temasek and Cargill, and between Graincorp (Australia) and Cargill. Mr Kettinger is from the United States and has a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Finance and Economics from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville.

Uzma Sulaiman

Associate Director, Community Jameel

Ms Uzma Sulaiman is Associate Director for Community Jameel, an independent, global organisation advancing science to help communities thrive in a rapidly changing world. Ms Sulaiman leads Community Jameel’s engagement with the public and private sector, galvanising support and influencing policymakers to ensure scientific breakthroughs contribute to society and policy decisions.


Ms Sulaiman has over decade of experience in the international development field. Prior to joining Community Jameel, Ms Sulaiman spent six years at Save the Children, leading the organisation’s Middle East partnerships team and developing its strategy. While at Save the Children, she helped launch its largest humanitarian training initiative with a consortium of government and philanthropic partners across North America, Europe and the Middle East.


Before joining Save the Children, Ms Sulaiman led communications for a social enterprise in South Africa that focused on access to education for remote communities. Ms Sulaiman started her career as a journalist working for BBC World and was instrumental in creating United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation’s first World Radio Day, celebrating the power of radio in journalism.


Ms Sulaiman holds a Master of Arts in International Journalism from City, University of London and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Politics from the University of Exeter.

Mr Wayne Liubinskas is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Village Energy, an Australian-based home energy management technology company that helps utilities and communities thrive. The Village Energy technology platform connects home energy assets such as rooftop solar, batteries, air conditioners and electric vehicles to the energy system, making it cheaper, cleaner and more reliable. Village Energy is headquartered in Australia and the technology is working across both highly advanced and emerging energy markets with proven social, climate and economic outcomes.


Mr Liubinskas has more than 25 years of experience in leading growth technology businesses ranging from start-ups to  billion-dollar portfolios. He currently lives in Sydney with his family and is a volunteer lifeguard, ultra-trail runner and long-term supporter of Manchester United.
